It has been a year since this beautiful pair lost their human and were nearly euthanized by his estate. They are a reminder to make provisions for your pets in the event of your passing. They simply did not understand where their person went and were desperately trying to get someone to stay with them. 

We were able to make room for them to save their lives. We will never regret that decision. They are marvelous.

It has been a hard grieving period for them but that has passed and they are settled into a comfortable routine here. These two dogs are perfect in every way. Wonderfully housetrained, easy to walk on leash, completely loving attention sponges, great with kids, cats, and the elderly, easy to care for and groom. If they have a fault it's that they are a solid pair that do not want or need any other dogs in their life. They will get along with dogs smaller than they are who may come to visit. Larger dogs can take a bit more effort and Lucy is very discriminating when it comes to allowing friends to play with her Zac. She gets very upset if he isn't near her.

Lucy is especially attached to men. She needs a man in her life. 

Zac is pretty go with the flow as long as the floors aren't slippery.

They just want someone to cuddle with every day and go on the occasional regular adventure. Mostly they would like a good sized yard and a family.
